Usage

iGEM Thessaly 2023 team combined this linker peptide with the sequence of the fluorescent protein SYFP2 (BBa_K864100) to create a composite part (BBa_K4624007), which can be used to link a coding sequence of our choice to this reporter module. In order to test the secretion efficiency of several signal peptides in E. coli we designed a construct where the coding sequence of the lcc2 laccase, from the white-rot fungus Trametes versicolor, was fused with this composite part (linker peptide + syfp2) at the 3'-terminal.
